We’re seeking an experienced 3D Exhibit Designer to lead creative events and experience design work for trade shows, live events, and other business-to-business activations. This Exhibit Designer will work directly and collaboratively with the Account teams, Project teams, and Production teams as well as directly with clients. The designer will be responsible for creating all project design deliverables, including but not limited to, conceptual renderings and visualizations, presentation decks, development drawings, graphic design concepts, documentation and specification packages, shop/reference drawings and templates, mechanical layouts, and graphic production files and proofs.

Seat Description

The Exhibit Designer is both a creative and strategic role within the Operations team. Working closely with multiple team members across the company, the exhibit designer is a client-facing role, with the key responsibilities of translating client needs and feedback into creative design solutions in support of their event strategy. The designer will be the creative voice in all client and company presentations, offering unique and original solutions in all stages of the design process through both creative and technical output.

This position reports directly to the VP of Operations and works closely with the Projects, Accounts, and Production teams to support the major creative efforts associated with growth initiatives of the company.

Areas of Accountability

  • Collaborate with team members, subcontractors, vendors, and clients

  • Create designs for interactive experiences and event environments, including but not limited to: trade shows, business meetings, company events, etc.

  • Participate in all phases of design projects from planning and concept design through documentation, fabrication, and installation

  • Follow and facilitate project schedules and budget requirements

  • Work closely with other team members to help bring concepts and ideas into the 3D environment through brainstorming ideas, building presentation decks, and experimenting with new products and solutions

  • Develop unique creative solutions for events, exhibits, and environments based on strategic insight, planning, and research

  • Design, conceptualize, and render 3D environments for proposals, based on client feedback and input from the Accounts and Projects team

  • Explain design rationale and creative/strategic thinking that bring concepts to life

  • Be thoughtful about the integration of media, structure, and technology into designs, with a specific focus on environmental sustainability

  • Communicate clearly with the Production team, offering CAD export models so that production and I&D drawings can be generated

  • Develop print-ready graphics for proofing and production

  • Seek out and develop creative resources and inspiration, bringing unique experiences and curiosity to the work of design


  • BA or MA in Industrial Design, Exhibit Design, or Interior Design.
  • 3-7 years of 3D Exhibit Design experience in a trade show company, exhibit house, or live events agency.


  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, V-ray, Vectorworks, Sketchup, Autodesk 3DS Max
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite and Google Workspace
